FREEDOM AND DIGNITY: A WOMAN’S RIGHT
The seminar "Freedom and dignity: a woman's right" aims to stress on the importance of prevention, in particular primary and secondary prevention. Speaking of prevention, we talk about saving victims, preventing young people from adopting violent patterns of behaviours, and the ability to implement more efficient policies.
During the seminar the floor will be given to the experts on gender violence, to analyze the last findings and strategies implemented at European level by the European projects HERA and ICEBERG. Representatives from the European Commission, the Economic and Social Committee, the EWL Observatory on Violence against Women, and the European Women Lawyers Association will give their opinion on gender-based violence and discuss with the audience their view.
